Joined: March 2005 Posts: 12759 Location: Boise, Idaho | Married SWMBO 32 years ago today. My guitar habit apparently hasn't caused her to want to get rid of me. In that regard, I have played the "guitar for our anniversary" thing for all it is worth. She no longer dares to ask what I want for our anniversary. The 04 CL and Ute were both anniversary presents for the same year. That was before she started to keep track. The OFC was a birthday gift that also covered our 30th anniversary. The LAV Koa was last year's and this year she got in a healthy dose of complaining before sending Stephen Terry the check for the #47 RI. Married life has been good, not just in the material things. The girls are coming in for a family reunion, one tonight and one tomorrow night. I'll try to get some pics of the guitars at the cabin where we should have one of our NW gatherings.

Taking my name was only one of her many concessions. 77 was kind of the height of that hyphenated name thing, too, and she went from 5 letters with 2 vowels to 9 letters with one vowel. Maybe if they get this brain tumor out, she'll start thinking clearly.

I figured that we were making more money on the capital kept in the market than we were losing on the interest for the car loans. After the bubble burst, the calculations looked a bit different. Both cars were sold and now I drive an official clunker, but have a couple of nice guitars. A good tradeoff in the end.Originally posted by ProfessorBB: Actually, it isn't paid for. I've met one of your girls at the first NW gathering (if I remember correctly) and if the two of you are a flavour of the family you're all a darned good team. Best to all of you and best wishes on the operation.
