The seller told me that it was 1 of 30 made exclusively for The Guitar Center Corporation. He went on to say that some of them made it overseas to a market with deep pockets. I originally purchased it as a collector piece but i got to tell ya i find myself playing it everyday. it plays like butter. So my question is simple? Does anyone have any concrete information on this model? Is it a rare piece? Thanks ;)

Since that label looks like it is hand-lettered, that particular guitar my have been a prototype of some sort. Outta my general dislike of GC, I would say that maybe that was a prototype for a model that GC was considering adding to it's line-up. Then the production model would be made in Annuthaland. Kinda like the GC057, or the GC178LX, or the S771GC... Of which there are thousands. But it is a nice looking guitar.

I keep mine is at my parents house so I dont get to play it as much as I would like. I added some gold tuners and a trust rod cover to dress it up a bit. I really like that koa.
