Location: Miami | Woo hoo!!! My textured babies! Hey, how come my black 1778T's don't have those cool inlays? Oh, yeah. I'm not rich and famous and able to get the mothership to make me one like that for under 5 gran. |

Probably so they could tell their T's apart.
And the MS would likely do it for about 400. |

Location: Bluffton, SC | Usually I'm a big fan of artists taking their stuff, stripping it down and doing the unplugged thing but I've never caught onto the Joan Baez thing and JP would probably be the last one to make me get it. Just one opinion tho'.
And I agree, Paul. |

Location: SoCal | As for Baez, politics aside, appreciated much of her work. After being harangued by every anti-war and leftist social group at a concert (to the detriment of the concert), I would never go to another. However, this song was a good cross-over when it came out.
Whoever got these guitars (reasonable cost, good guitars) into the hands of this group probably made a lot of guitar retailers happy and increased sales more than the use of a Custom Legend years ago by Paul Simon (Concert in the Park ? 1982). The videos have a fair amount of play on VH1. |
