Wimp, Wuss...

Yeah, I'll remind myself of that walking the beach in the sunshine in January, or on the golf course. You can think of it as you're shoveling that white shit on a cold, grey, dreary day when your feet are always soggy and the wind cuts through all seven layers you're wearing and it gets dark at 4:30 in the afternoon. Yep, hold that thought....

It's 40 degrees, dark at 4:30, windy, with a cold driving rain, puddles all over (and that's just in the basement).

I need to get out the glow-in-the-dark golf balls and hope they put the snow tires and chains on the golf cart.

OMArthur thanks for the tips previously and the weather report. I was on Lake Okeechobee scouting for ducks and it was a cool 58 before the sun rose. In a couple hours it quickly peacked at 80 then started down again. Beautiful time to be in FL.

Its all good on the ribbing. I grew up in a family with five kids. Even now we dont always see eye to eye but as long as theres enough food on the table the bleeding isnt too bad
:D

The "Evil Empire" I mean Guitar Center sells road Runner brand cases for ssb "O's" at about $70 or $80 , I got one w/ my model 1869 and it seems to work ok, gigging and general transport.

Welcome to the board, I used to live in Vero Beach, 100 miles below Daytona until we relocated to Tennessee.
Miss our family and friends but not the hurricanes.
Save up for your next O, you can't have just one.

The people here are great. Thanks to all of you that have answered my questions. I am sure I will have many more. I have already been looking for another O to keep my 6868 company.
I find practicing is more enjoyable when I can switch around from one guitar to another.

I really liked the 1778 Slydog had for sale but I could not squeeze that much juice for a guitar right now. I also saw a nice late 90's 1767 that is coming to town next week for my me to inspect also.
