| So another noob (no, I'm not going by the new handle) comes on and insults one of the most long-standing, respected, fair and honest members. Just frickin' great. Stephen, I'm surprised Capt. Obvious didn't let loose with a string of filth, like what was directed at another valuable and respected member here not too long ago by another smart-ass-full-of-himself noob. Guess the passive-aggressive shit only carries so far.
I honestly don't know what it is that's attracted such a large number of whiny, hypersensitive, politically correct candy asses to this forum of late. This used to be a fun place, full of interesting characters, lively banter, camaraderie in a shared love for a weird-ass guitar that everyone else hates, and above all a feeling that any regular on the board would likely be an instant friend - something that invariably came true. No longer.
I thought I might make it to 3000 posts. Ain't gonna happen. I'm done. The people that matter know where to find me, and I them.

They are not new by any means, and know a lot about what's going on, and are determined to upset the apple cart by spreading discontent. I guess their main objective is to drive away all the positive attitudes and take over with negativism. I am most sorry for Al who has to deal with all the BS going on here. I feel another closed thread coming on.... |

You know G8r, they have probably been reprimanded for much worse and now feel they have to exercise the passive-aggressive approach and police everyone else. So they feel justified in "vindicating" themselves in this way. Pretty sad.

I don't normally get fired up like this. Stephen is a person I've never met, but I hope to change that soon. When I asked for some help a few years ago he didn't steer me wrong--he chimed in and was a big help when he didn't have to be.
And yes, TJ, it's too bad Al and Miles have to put up with that kind of crap.
