Location: SoCal | Glen was playing a Bluebird 12 until sometime in the early mid 90's when it was damaged by an airline. The leader of his band, Jeff Dayton, contacted the factory and had Hamer build him a custom 12. Same neck profile as the Bluebird, same body size and shape (more or less)and it's got the later Schaller bridge on it that Ovation used in the late 70's, early 80's. He's been using it ever since. I'd be willing to bet that he had that BB 12 repaired and it's in storage somewhere.
Look in the archives. Dayton posted on the board for a while when he was selling his 87C in about 2004-05..... |

Location: Indiana | He was using the Hamer 12 when he was here a few months back Paul. Sounded great. I was pleasantly surprised to find that he can still sing his ass of when he wants too as well.
This is a very cool story Jim. Nice you were able to make this happen. |

Location: Brisbane Australia | Glen played the Hamer 12 string as Moody described.
Lovely guitar, light metallic blue with the Schaller bridge ala 12 st Deacon, Preacher Deluxe.
His other guitarist, not sure of his name, played a Taylor a/e and T5 electric.
And the bass player played what looked like a Danelectro

I posted this once before but here is a clip of GC playing one of the other Bluebird 6's. I still have this one.
