Actually this would make for a great way to get rid of old credit cards ... make them into picks! Hey! ... I could probably get some stimulus money for that idea, as I would be creating one green job.!?

I bought a gross or two of picks 10 years ago, and have been supplementing the inventory with freebies ever since. I use a pick about 99% of the time I play, am relatively easy with them, and I still have hundreds of picks in the pick jar. This gadget might be fun to be creative with, but I sure don't need more picks.

I recently purchased a used Gibson SG for my oldest son for Christmas - in the case pocket was about 20 picks of various shapes and sizes. That'll keep me going for awhile.

The only picks that I've actually purchased in the past 10 years were 2 dozen of the Adamas 2.0mm Graphite Picks, and another 2 dozen of the 2.0mm Gator Grip picks, and a package of the OFC thick picks..blue and white..

I gave them all to Serge for distribution at G8rBowl Dos...

I still have hundreds that have arrived in various guitar cases, or along with parts purchases from suppliers, or from the "Free Picks" bowls at the mom and pop guitar shops around here.

My wife did buy me a pick supposedly made of Wooly Mastodon Ivory with abalone inlay... really nice pick, but afraid I'll break it.

One of those are in my wallet's 'secret compartment'. Thanx to you and Serge!

Now when they come out with the large triangular 'pick punch', I just might get one for S&Gs.
