You might be able to buy an original Ovation pickup from the factory for less.

Location: Copenhagen Denmark | Shadow PU`s are standard on HÖHNER Guitars , .. they`re just Piezo- PU`s .. the IMPORTANT Thing would be the Pre-Amp. , ..the Electronic Gadget Which is in between PU and Git- Amp: ,... S`ooh ..U´re the Boss , you decide ... which means..
Go Full Rate .. ( original Ovation )
or
Have it your way .. ( Anything Else )

Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR | Okay... I just looked one up and they cost $87 USD.
For that much money you can buy a REAL Ovation saddle.
I mean... If you have one lying around, go ahead and use it...
(I have used Artec peizos in to fix two Celebrity's)
But if you have not already bought it, why would you. |
