Man, that Bubble Adamas looks really good and it is realy getting me thinking about having my boy's guitar painted for him.
I asked my Son if he could have the beater 77 Custom Balladeer (this is the $75.00 guitar I picked up for him when I was home on mid-tour leave last month)painted any color he wanted, what would it be?
He described a light to dark blue Adamas-type fade (even though he's never seen one).
The more I get to thinking about it the more I'd love to be able to get something like this done for him.
Anybody here know who could do this?
The top would have to be sanded I'm sure cause there are little dings and 3 or 4 very small (1/4" or so) finish cracks.
Obviously, I don't have tons of dough and especially do not want to throw too much money into a $75.00 guitar but I'd ike to see how much something like this might run me to do for him.

Actually I guess it would be more along the lines of the color of the 1982 Collector's Series...

I'd suggest finding a local artist - the sort that does custom airbrushing on autos.

Bassman Brad's son has a friend in Greenville, SC that can do it. Send Brad an email. He's not doing anything today as usual.
