Location: Steeler Nation, Hudson Valley Contingent | I'd heard of them, but never seen one...never even seen one for sale! Playing a 1537 only made me wonder even more. Playing a 1758 added to the consternation. Why would the people who own one of these VERY rare birds rather eat their own thumbs than choke down the idea of selling it?
All I can say is, now I know. Some time this year, it will go to the factory for it 30-year check up. If it looks this good now, imagine what it will look like then.
And don't ask me about the sound. We don't have time for me to write a description (novel) that would do it justice. I have to move a couple of my best instruments because of this, but strumming on this one eases the loss quite a bit. :cool:
