Pulling the volume know "out" activates the tuner. . Here is a mini video. fretlight tuner My first impression is that this is a pretty nice guitar for the money. Made in China. Fit and finish very acceptable. Very playable. The real meat & potatoes is in the computer software. That will take a while to delve into. Sidebar: Mrs. Slipkid does not think much of the color. I have been told that this guitar is not allowed on the main living room wall hangers.

Ice Blue and Olympic White are my preferences, and Dakota Red is up there, too. Fender's selection of color choices during the early years is a story in and of itself. The choice of pickguard color can also make a huge difference in overall appearance. For instance, on the Ice Blue models, the pickguard is actually light green. Olympic White models look best with a tortoise PG to my eye. The combinations are endless. Display it proudly, Brad!
