Probably it's stupid, but I'd like to know from other owners if they received the certificate along with the guitar like for the previous collector's editions...

I believe somebody said on here a while back that that one didn't come with one.
I could be wrong though.....

No certificate here. I bought mine from the #1 Adamas dealer on the planet, and it was shipped directly to me from the factory.

I bought mine from someone who got a great deal from Al because someone thought they saw something that really didn't matter.

No Certificate :D

Well, since I bought the guitar new, if the dealer gave me a guitar without all the proper paperwork it would matter, but since they were issued without, I assume it's all OK, just curious.

BTW, anybody know how many were produced? Mine is #607.

The one I had didn't have any cert. I don't think they've done that for a while. Anyone know when the factory stopped the COA's on the collectors?

Just checked the case, my 08C came with a COA.

The Ovation web site says, that there were only 558 of them made!? I'm confused.
My friend's one is No. 373 and his has no COA.
My 2009C also came witout a COA.

Sorry BBurg, I miswritten...here number 107, not 607, my bad.

Anyway it would be interesting to make a sort of registry, nad it's a pity that they stopped delivering the certificates with the guitars, it was a part of the aura of the collector's series.

You're making me miss it even more. I'm already thinking that someday I'll have to get another. But first maybe a 1680, or a custom 2080 wideneck, or a textured top.

Too bad the credit card has a limit!

Don't know about limited editions, but COAs still come with custom orders.
