Location: Scotland | Way overpriced. These things were cheap "fake" resonator guitars made by Slingerland in the mid-30's. The coverplate is there purely for decoration as there is no resonator cone underneath, just a birch-ply top. They sound exactly like you'd expect a cheap plywood guitar with a hunk of metal screwed to it to sound. Worth a couple of hundred at the most just for curiousity value. |
