I still kick myself that I didn't grab his Martin OM-42 when given the chance. Great talent, and I'm honored that he hangs around these forums with the rest of us clowns. As Bobbo says, please let us know the new album is released. |

This was a photo shoot yesterday and he asked me to play something for video.
It is just a rhythm for one of the tunes, just one section, and of course there is a melody on top.
My new band is a jazz quartet and consists of: guitar, bass, horns (tenor and alto sax and flutes) and afro/latin percussion (cajon, bongos, congas, timbales, shakers, etc).
We start tracking next week and hope to have it ready soon.
I will be playing electric guitar exclusively and it is a Custom Gibson L-5 Wes Montgomery with flatwound strings. Incredible neck and plugged in tone.
This video is just the guitar acoustically without plugging in.
