I ordered mine a couple weeks ago, and a guy called saying that I was number 11 on the list, and they were only expecting 10 more before production ended. Here's hoping that a credit card doesn't go through.

And this sucks, because I was getting it as my guitar for the rest of my life, as a gift for my graduation. Damn.

Does anyone know where I could get something to attach to the guitar like the Koa if I have to buy a non-SW 2078T?

Thanks.

Paravillintiniay,
Easy does it. If it turns out that you do miss out on this one, the next "can't pass it up" type of deal is right around the corner.
Stick around here... keep your ears to the ground, and I'm sure something will come up that will be just as cool.
And if nobody else has said it yet, welcome.

P.S.
Your name is really, really hard to type.
If you keep it the same, expect to be reffered to with some kind of nick-name real soon.

well...i am not sure if it's gonna work or how it's gonna look, but i have one of these on the way. i think the abalone will look nice against the black top. i don't really want to just glue it on, so i may get inventive with my dremel and inlay the epaulet, if possible. i'll keep everyone posted.

You're a brave man randy. Last time I used a dremel on a guitar, it was a disaster.

good luck.

I was thinking that one of the MOP ones from the Melissa guitar would look real nice on the black, especially if you put the pearl tuner buttons on. I wonder if the factory would sell one?

As for me and a dremel ... NFW.

If I were gonna apply those Abalone eppies (one in this case) I would use black caulk/adhesive and tool it smoothly around the edges as it oozes out. I think it would look great added to a regular Elite T .

john,
i've considered that option also. it will be best to decide once i have it in hand. i'm hoping they've got the holes aligned properly...
and i want to maintain the top's vibration as much as possible.

I wonder if the guys at the Mothership are...
A) Scratching their head in disbelief over the response to the KoaT
and
B) Wondering how many more EliteTs they would have sold if they had done this two years ago.

Yeah, I expect to be called Para or Paravill.
It always happens.
