These 1/8 scale models will be made with plastic/PVC (very common for an Ovation... :D ) and they seems to be very realistic. If you're interested, make a google search with "media factory ovation collection" as key words and you will find some website in Japan and Hong Kong where you can pre-order this set. It's funny and not too expensive. LOOK HERE FOR AN ENGLISH DESCRIPTION J :) ![]()

I decorate my tree here with as many musical instrument ornaments as I can find. I have some really nice guitar ornaments. Some, people have made for me, some are store bought. I've got some lighters (empty) that are in the shape of electric guitars that I hang every year, a couple of banjo's, a couple of violins, several harps (those are easy to find), plus assorted horns and musical notes and G clefs.

When I was looking for an Adamas, most of the ones for sale were in Japan. Of course, they won't sell you one outside of Japan, but they really do have a deep respect for the design, which does have a sort of Japanese sensibility to it. Prices there for vintage Adamas' are INSANE... They routinely go for between 6-8000 USD. Another sign of how much they like them...

Like when I was shoppin' around a few months ago for an iDea, we are talking around 85,000 Yen, at 88 yen/dollar at the time makes $965ish dollars on a $600 guitar! Celebrities going for 60,000-90,000 Yen...so I buy online :( and pay like $100 in shipping :( Even my Elixers are like 24 bux a pop! Darn you USD get worth a crap!!! lol

I just understood, that I got that wrong... Forget what I said about the taxes. I should think before posting... ![]()

They are more beautiful in real as the pics are not very good. It's funny because it's very hard to catch the Adamas color just as for the "big" model. :D I should get the Adamas I pretty soon but HERE ARE THE FIRST 7 MODELS. J :)
