Location: South of most, North of few | Well, got the boy to mow just after the pics, and the fence is staying a -4. I've got to say, I've gotten to spend a little time with the Tak, and it is quite impressive. I know it's going to open up yet, but as of now, it's a killer! |

And it looks like they had a really nice slab of koa to work with as well. Beautiful grain.
Has anybody noticed the koa that several makers are using these days just doesn't look as good, grain or colour-wise as in the old days (not enough and too light, IMHO). I guess luthiers might be running out of that too... |
