Location: Right now? | I haven't tried one on a pacemaker, Pez, but I can tell you that the Intelli IMT-900 I have is pretty crappy. It was a bit cheaper than some of the other ones, but suffice to say one gets what one pays for. It's slow and inaccurate ... I do NOT recommend that particular model. I should have just bought a KORG. |

I was wondering about if the slothead would effect it and where to try to clip it on. |

Works like a charm for me, slothead or otherwise.
I also have a Petersen clip on, that plugs into a normal tuner.
It works fine as well.

Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR | I have an eNote Nano clip-on tuner. I bought it for guitars that don't plug-in.
It works great. Just clip it on the end of the slot-head.
I put it on things like my Draco and my Parker which have weird headstocks.
It works fine.
Around $15... They were cheaper when I got mine.
You could wait for a sale. :rolleyes: |

Location: Hanau, Hessen, Germany | I have a very cheap one (6 Dollars), I bought from Thomann (www.thomann.de). Though it was that cheap it works perfectly. The slothead doesn't effect it at all. I normally put it on the bottom side of the headstock. |

| I've heard that some of them have trouble with the low E but if you just bang the harmonic it works fine. I'm thinking about getting one but haven't decided yet. |

The only problem is with nylon guitars, it has some troubles picking the frequency, but its just a matter of placing it on the right spot. |

Location: Massachusetts | Hi, I haven't posted here in a while. GC called and said they had a $20 gift card for me for anything in the store.
I got the $30 Intellitouch PT-10. My Ovation Balladeer and my Gibson don't have a tuner.
This works fantastic and actually works in bright sunlight. The connection between tuner and clip while replaceable is plastic and kind of fragile.
On the Ovation, because of the funny headstock cut it won't clip on like a normal acoustic. I found I could clip it between the low e tuner and the nut. A bit shakey there but it fits and tunes great.
So at this point, I do recommend this model. If it breaks(like mine did) it is a lifetime warrantee. They just sent me another clip, I unscrewed the old one put the new one on and I was good to go. |

Location: Vernon CT | PEZ, I bought a Zoid Z-1000 at Music & Arts. Can be adjusted to tune by sound or Vibration. Orange out of tune, Green in tune with big "Senior font" note designation. The only negative is it JUSTS barely fits on an Ovation head stock. I beleive I paid $24.99. |

Location: cincinnati, ohio | I was thinking about the Planet Waves tuner. My newest "O" has an OP-30 with an onboard tuner, which I love, but I have a 40 year old Balladeer and a 35 year old Pacemaker that I'd like to be able to tune almost as effortlessly.
Interesting, too - I didn't realize how many Pacemaker owners there were here. Nice to know... |

This is also where one that rotates on the clip is useful. |

It fits all of the Ovation Pegheads, I borrowed an Intelli touch, but it wouldn't stay on the 1537 peg head. The Seiko fits the Adamas carved Peghead too. I'm pleased with it.. TJR |

Mine might be the Intellitouch some others have referenced -- honestly not sure. Anyway, it was one the best $25 or so purchases I've made. |

Location: Location Location Location | Can't speak to the pacemaker, but I have two of them that I've used on all my guitars for quite a while; an intellitouch tuner, and a seiko tuner. I like them both. I use the intellitouch more.
Of course my ear always has the final say. |
