Check out these pickers: http://villageatcopper.com/guitarTown/performers.php It is free, which is unusual for a summer festival. Here are directions from Denver: http://www.coppercolorado.com/winter/directions/directions Best to all-- Dave King

Adam requested a return visit this year - and he's a drummer! So this year we're going back for the full three days. standing: There's no catch. I think the resorts offer free events like this to fill their rooms over the summer. There's definitely a lot of talent at Guitar Town.

She was answered with a number of himiny-haws, blank stares, and shrugged shoulders. Thing is she never asked the really, really important questions like what kind of strings they use and if they were fans of A bracing or X bracing.

With so many Mikes in the mix, it's now Mike (that gave me the Iffy nomer), Mike (the Reverend), Mike (that works at Dollywood and sings the cat song); that's no counting the Marks, etc.! :D BOnT, wish I could of been dere!

A couple of the computer geeks in the OFC called me, although I don't think I ever disclosed my last name or phone number. There is more than one Mark living in Boise. I guess I never worried about identity theft because I didn't think anyone would want mine.

The weather is great and the music so far has been awesome. The day started off with a workshop that featured four of today's main stage performers: Joe Robinson, Kaki King, Bryan Sutton, and John Jorgenson. The main stage performers began at noon and are still going on as I write this. Here are a few photos: Myself in front of the main stage. Some of you will recognize the T-shirt. Kaki King on the main stage. ![]()
