Just took my first trip up to the Mother Ship last Friday. I had recently purchased a new Custom Legend 2079LX that needed a slight neck angle adjustment. I could have shipped it back to the store, but since I live in CT I decided to take it right to the factory to have them look at it.
I met up with John Budny, who checked it out and said it was off a little, but still an within acceptable range to have shipped out from the factory. However, he was nice enough to say that they would adjust it to be exactly where it should be, or in his words, "we will make it right"...When I pick up this guitar I am going to drop off my Legend 1617, which is 26 yrs old and in need of a fret job. John also gave me a brief tour of the area where they do all the repairs. It was great seeing the place where these guitars come from, and even better for me knowing it's in CT. I appreciate the time that John gave me and look forward to picking up my guitar next week. All I can say is what an example of great customer service! You can't say for all manufacturers...I am glad I took the ride up there.

You LUCKY DAWWWWG!

I was kinda' hoping they would move the whole operation to Northern Michigan. I have a real nice facility all picked out for them CHEAP!), right next to the main expressway. I know I could even get them a tax abatement. I just don't think the crew could handle to long winters up here though.
