Hi Everyone:

Does anyone have opinions on the rep. of the Adamas 1681? (circa. 1986) Tone? Playability? Value?

I'd appreciate your input.

Thanks,
Jeff

I have one, and it's one of my favorites. There ARE some different flavors of that model though.

I have a -5, and it's just a glorious guitar. It's a deep-bowl, and the sound is big, deep, round and well-balanced. The neck on mine is glossy and sleek. The fingerboard is lightning fast, and is comfortable with low or less low action (hence the lightnigh quickness). One of my all-time favorites. If you have an opportunity for one, I'd say jump ALL over it. I think I paid around $900 for mine on e-Bay, and it's proved to be one of the great bargains I've ever encountered.
