Joined: April 2010 Posts: 1227 Location: Connersville, Indiana | Hey everyone I need some help, Naw I'm already on medications for that. No I need help with recording. I have a mac mini with the garage band and logic express software. I have people sending me mp3's wanting to collaborate by adding guitars or vocals or both. Here is the problem. How do I import the mp3 into the recording software so while it plays I can add a track or two or whatever. I have tried several things and even watched the tutorial but unless I feel a sleep I could not find anything about it. Any help would be great. Thank you Kit

If you are using it professionally (such as producing your album/CD), then there is a "pro" fee to pay.

We offer two licenses, depending on how you use it. $150: full commercial license. $40: discounted license. You may use the discounted license if any of the following is true: * You are an individual, using REAPER only for personal use. * You are an individual or business, using REAPER for commercial use, and the yearly gross revenue does not exceed USD $20,000. * You are an educational or non-profit organization. I bought the discounted license as my sales will never exceed USD 20,000!

I may get the Reaper, but I still owe iffy for the Viper I bought so that comes first. I'm so broke I can't afford to pay attention  Zen thank you for reminding me. I read something about that somewhere but I can't remember. I'll make sure I do that. Again thank you all Kit

I didn't remember there being a monetary amount fixed to the PRO version but I haven't looked in years since I started using Reaper with version 2. Maybe they changed the policy a bit when version 3 came out.

They're definately #1 on the bundled with hardware front. Not that any of this has to do with the original question. Shame on me for starting it.

At least when I make a mistake I can delete it and do it over with out looking at someone looking at the clock, and my wallet getting lighter. All this information is a great help, I'm telling you, oh I already did, I'm brain damaged......Pink Floyd
