Every time I watch this, brings back the reason why I love that Ovation tone............so BIG! in a concert hall.........and so cool....
just 2 guitars, a 12 and a 6 string and 2 great voices...
that retro folk.............simple and powerful...............I love it........ |

Location: Texas | YES!!! I totally agree, that IS the sound…
…and probably my favorite of many, many great Dave Mason songs… I used to play that song, I think I need to revisit that one…
Is that a Pacemaker he's playing?
Thanks for posting that one, it's excellent! |

Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | Pacemaker 12...One of the best guitars for vocal accompaniment ever made...Dave Mason used one for years...I used my -4 in every gig for nearly 12 years: I am really glad to have one back in my arsenal (now a -1)...Acoustically as well it's still a monster...12 fret 12 string...what a classic...
Dave, just another Cameo appearance from the former gas station worker... |
