Location: Caribou, ME | I was willing to go much higher. Maybe too high. It's just the idea of scoring a shiny bowl with that low a number. The opportunity doesn't come around very often. I have no idea about the nylon strings. The ebay seller seemed to have come out of nowhere and is flooding ebay with all kinds of neat old stuff but also has generated a lot of crummy feedback, mostly due to slow shipping. At least I know that going into it and won't be drumming my fingers waiting for the UPS truck. |

Location: Caribou, ME | Regardless of who bid what, I'm overjoyed at what I paid for it. I was willing to pay stupid money for it... as it is, I had to put it on the plastic. But I'm looking around to see if there are any dregs I can peddle off to soften the blow.
I can't say for sure but it looks like there is a label inside. That would be sweet.
Rest assured it will have an easy life and it won't be in harm's way. One of the other Os in the harem will have to give up their HSC.
Too bad I didn't have provenance; it had to have been really early. Who knows what store it might have gone to, or who was daring enough to buy a bowl in '66 or '67. |

All the right things, little trc, no heel cap, earliest shape on the peghead.
Get those strings off it and put on some metal ones and you'll be fine. |

1. You may not have won the guitar
2. I probably would have bid a crazy amount to win it and therefore if I had won, then my death would have led the morning local news...lol |
