The opportunity doesn't come around very often. I have no idea about the nylon strings. The ebay seller seemed to have come out of nowhere and is flooding ebay with all kinds of neat old stuff but also has generated a lot of crummy feedback, mostly due to slow shipping. At least I know that going into it and won't be drumming my fingers waiting for the UPS truck.

You will notice that I didn't give a PSA on that one! I did not bid too high (or high enough), but I did bid everything in my PP account. But I am glad someone here got it... Good Get!

Congrats to you, you'll want to spend more money on it than I! Please tell me what it's sounding like when has arrived. I hope you'll be very happy with it. Bernie

I was willing to pay stupid money for it... as it is, I had to put it on the plastic. But I'm looking around to see if there are any dregs I can peddle off to soften the blow. I can't say for sure but it looks like there is a label inside. That would be sweet. Rest assured it will have an easy life and it won't be in harm's way. One of the other Os in the harem will have to give up their HSC. Too bad I didn't have provenance; it had to have been really early. Who knows what store it might have gone to, or who was daring enough to buy a bowl in '66 or '67.

You may not have won the guitar 2. I probably would have bid a crazy amount to win it and therefore if I had won, then my death would have led the morning local news...lol
