Location: Seattle | I received a "extra" iDea preamp as a gift.
Any thoughts on if the iDea would work well with a nylon ovation (Celebrity). Is the pickup for a nylon Ovation fundamentally different that a steel string? |

Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR | If your CC059 has an OP20 preamp in it, I don't see why it wouldn't work.
That is the same undersaddle pick-up.
And if an OP20 will work with nylon, I don't see why the iDea wouldn't.
Go for it, and let us know how it turns out.
If you don't drill the hole for the 'aux' jack, you can just switch it back if it don't work. |

Location: Utah | To check for compatibility just look at the connector on the bottom of the modules. New ones have 8 copper tabs in a symmetrical layout, 2 rows of 4. Older modules such as OP30 have 7 tabs, 3 on one side and 4 on the other. |

I am running with the assumption that he got the iDea can with the iDea preamp.
BTW-- The iDea Module will run in an OP-Pro can...
BUT an OP-Pro module will NOT run in an iDea can. |
