This is my new Christmas song titled: Christmas Time In Heaven with Mary Clare. I wrote this years ago after my grandfather passed away. I recently recorded it for a really true friend, so he could enjoy the song this year and for many years to come. We have all lost loved ones, pet, friends an family members. Be sure that they are in Heaven looking down upon us in a snow covered promised land, and their tears of joy are the crystal snow flake that fall.

Christmas Time In Heaven with Mary Clare.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a joyful, musical New Year.

A very heartfelt original Christmas tune! Those are really hard to do, so congratulations to you and Mary Clare on all the success you're having with this song. That Ovation sounds great!

When I recorded this song, I sent the track to several friends of the OFC to get impute on how to make it better. I took all the advise, and I compromised. I could of used big sounds and layered guitars and such, but the overall reaction was that the simplicity of the music was great for the type of song it is. The words and meaning were the most important. I had Mary Clare add the angelic vocals which I think for me anyway made it perfect. Such the song as of today is #3 on Sound Click. We are hoping for Christmas it will make #1, but even if it does not, that's ok with me. Just knowing that I have been able to touch one person with one song makes me feel complete. I'm glad that you all like the song, Patch I'll e mail you and MP3 of the song for yourself. Thank you all that helped with advise, you know who you are. From my heart to you Thank you and have a Joyful Christmas.

Kit

It's rare that a song gets this old dawg teary-eyed, but "Christmas Time In Heaven" gives me goosebumps every time I hear it… (which is pretty often… since it's currently in "heavy rotation" in our house.)

Congratulations Kit, you nailed it!

Very nice job. I could hear this played at your local church service. You should get this published in Hymn books.

Very nice job

Now here is where I'm dumb as a rock. How does someone go about getting a song published in Hymn books. Do I have to hire an agent, which I can't afford. Any advise would be greatly needed, used and thankful for.

Kit
