Cat is one of my favorites of the period. I still love his classics!

BTW, welcome to the OFC!

I'm not sure I understand this post, or the website for that matter. Are these "short bus" guyitars for sale or is this just an FYI?

The site says "If you require higher resolution images, specific documentation or specific photography requests do not hesitate to contact us here at Rare Star Guitars."

Why would someone "require" this unless they were contemplating the purchase?

I don't understand. Is this just SPAM maybe?

Its Just FYI, for fans, none of the Guitars are for sale......... If a mod regards this as spam please delete the post or the link to the site.

Always manage to get 'someones back up, just generally posting images for fans who appreciate these guitars.

Ah, I see.

Well it's nice collection. With an emphasis on the Veleno.

I think we all like to look at special guitars.
At first I thought they were up for sale.
Maybe we just needed a little more information on your first OFC post.
Welcome!!

Welcome Storm!

I've never seen a soundboard with (B)racing stripes before... musta been a custom order!

I think a 1619 should have the carvings and bling included.

First 1-2 years the CL did not have carvings.

That pattern on the soundboard looks like A bracing pattern.

For my last birthday, Jeanette gave me a DVD of a recent concert of his (Yusuf).

Included on the DVD was a documentary/interview with him.
First time I'd ever really heard him "speak" (especially at any "length").
Quite interesting.
Dispelled a lot of the pre-conceived "whack-job" notions I've (as a lot of other Americans've) had about him . . .

The concert was pretty good, too . . .
Mix of his old stuff and from his last album (tho, it seemed t'slightly lack some of the "energy/passion" of old).

I saw that concert on PBS. It wasn't bad. I had seen interviews with him that were taped right after he appeared on the "do not fly" list and he seemed like a good guy.

I got his last cd and I agree with Cliff. It just doesn't have any zing in it. I liked his Folklore better than this CL anyway. Wonder what happened to his two slotheads.

The Slash Les Paul description makes reference to the dark tobacco sunburst - the guitar in the pics is not tobacco sunburst. And it doesn't look like Slash toured it for a few years - his guitar tech must be the best if he managed to keep it looking like that.
