He has a real nice shiny new Adamas W2097 out on the rack & that was good to see.
Also a couple very nice New Harford Guilds.
And a very ho-hum Korean made Tak.
Here's the part you won't like.
A very passable Koa Taylor. Very fast neck... sounded good... nice fit and finish... absolutely STUPID high price.
Then another Taylor.... an 8 string... the G & D strings are doubled. Very interesting, unique sound.... absolutely STUPID high price.
Even having said that... You can have my Ovation FanClub card when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers. |

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | Congratulations on the acquisition. If I could afford to have all the Ovations and Adamas guitars I wanted, I would probably also have a 1935 Martin 00028EC, Taylor 914ce, a Koa/cedar McPherson, and an old Ramirez classical hanging on the wall also. |

Whenever I need a price-reality-check I play my 1612.
$101... and $65 of that was shipping. :p
So how did the Taylor compare to the W2097 or the Guild wood-box?
