What are the advantages of LX Bracing over the A bracing in the older models? And what are the disadvantages in sound quality? (if any) I would think the LX type bracing wouldn't be as susceptible to "bellying" or bridge lift as A bracing, but I'll be the first to admit that I don't really know. It would be interesting to read a review on the various types of bracing patterns and their srengths and weaknesses.

I don't have a clue. Structurally, I don't know what the advantages/disadvantages of one over the other are.

Sonically, I'm not aware of any two guitars that are identical except one has the X bracing (I assume that's what you're talking about) and one has A bracing. To really know, you'd have to build two identical guitars with that being the only difference.

I don't know that there's that much difference in sound from the limited comparisons I've heard -- not nearly as much difference as the VT braced and A braced guitars.

That ok for you Bradley?

We all did once, Brad. Most of us have since adjusted our expectations.

You should see his P.I. reports....
