Location: Copenhagen Denmark | For me bigger cables mean more " power " , strong groundtone / less overtones , depending on guitar , for ex., my 1537 is allways strung with Thom.Spectrum 13 -57 ,with it`s smallish box , I doubt that Thom.Plectrum 13 - 61 !! will add any bass , yet , the 1617 does best with gauge 12 -54 , and the 1618 ( 12 stringer ) just " sings " with 10 -47 , this is all very subjective / controversial..
