Greetings:

Just wondering if there are any plans to revise this guide to add post-2001 model guitars.

On a related subject, does anyone know roughly what a 2007 Legend LX model 6756 should go for, depending on condition, of course? According to the Ovation website, the MSRP for the current 6756 is $2499.

Thanks for your time.

No one here is on commission so I don't know if you'll get an answer.

Price is what you're willing to pay. Ebay is a better place to find current values.

This is a SOCIAL site. No affiliation with Ovation...or Fender for that matter. Have a read around some threads, you'll get the idea.

We have all been well trained not to guess (or criticize) the price of any guitar. Sometimes we even get a little grouchy about it. An eBay search for 'ovation 12 string' is a good idea, since there are so many choices at every price level. I almost bought one just now, even though my fingers are too weak to hold down the strings. Or call Al .

It's still a good time to buy guitars if you have the cash. I have to remind myself not to get too excited, another one will come along.

A very nice condition 2007 6756LX should be a $1400 guitar. But the current market is depressed and schizoid. New in 2007 it was probably around $1200 street price, more or less, including case. There was a substantial factory price increase in '09 or '10. For today's value a search of eBay history for that model and similar vintage 6 string models should give you an idea of what is fair.

If the price is in the ballpark of what you see on eBay for similar model Ovations it is bound to be an excellent value. Prices are so depressed right now that everything is a bargain.
