Right now on eBay there are two almost identical red Adamas 1597s. Only one has 'outies' and one has 'innies'.

I'm not an expert in any sense of the word on Ovation model changes, but I'd sure like to know why this model was changed at some point. Also, from what to what (outies-innies? Innies-outies?)

And why. And whether it influenced sales in any way. And whether any other models went through O/I changes.

I've always been a huge fan of outies — to my eye, they look much more 'natural', like a bird in flight vs. one with folded wings. But hardly any 'affordable' (to me, anyway) Ovations come with them.
