Someone on the Acoustic Guitar Forum stepped up to the plate for me as he only lived 15 minutes away. He said this one's not his cup of tea, but the quality of the instrument was obvious. The man's got a gift for understatement, and couldn't have been more helpful. This thing is going to look great standing next to my Patriot! Pics are below, and there are more HERE on my NING page. All I can say is, in every way, WHAT A GUITAR!!!!

Copious amounts of lemon oil, buffing cloths, and steel wool were needed to get a true perspective of its condition; which, as you can see is pretty darned nice! By the time I was finished cleaning this critter front and back, and especially the fret board, my white cotton cloth was surprisingly black. But boy was it worth the effort eh? Secondly, I new before it shipped that one of the bass-side tuners was missing its cap. As soon as I knew the deal had been closed, I contacted John Budny at the factory inquiring about a replacement. I got the guitar yesterday and the replacement tuner today. It's been seated in place and I'm a happy picker. I know it may sound redundant, but that doesn't make it any less true: You can't ask for better customer service than the people hanging out in New Hartford, CT!

Also not in the best state, but now it´s completely refurbished, and I replaced the golden machines (which definetely do not match the rest of the colours, sorry) with chromeplated Schallers with ebony heads. Little glue, a professional fretjob and polish and that was it. I have some Ovations but this instrument is the most precise and the easiest to play! Feels like a Les Paul. The acoustic sound is a little fragile but the OP50 preamp makes a great guitar out of it. I´ve put some pics in my album "Flag".

If anyone in the OFC Family ever decides to part with theirs, or sees one for sale somewhere, please, please let me know! I wonder if the other Guitar Manufacturers have people who love them as much as we Love our Ovations/Adamas - there is almost a 'reverence' here for these Guitars and the People who made them!
