I can't to find a setting that has full sound.
Really trebilly, bright and kind of thin.
Anyone else have this issue?

OK, Plan "B". How is the pickup sitting in the bottom of the bridge? Can you swap out the pickup fairly easily, i.e., have a spare handy?
