Location: northern virginia | Any fans here of Crooked Still (the band)? My wife and I were lucky to see them recently at a small venue here in Northern Virginia, and the performance was just breathtaking...there is not much guitar in their music, but I sure do love me some Crooked Still. :D If you are a fan of bluegrass or good banjo, chances are these guys and gals will knock your socks off. Every one of them are master musicians IMHO, and together they just make magic. |

Location: Newington, CT | Sounds like great fun! I do like a lot of bluegrass, but I have to warn you, banjos come in for a WHOLE lot of ribbing in these here parts. I'm not a big fan, but not all that hostile toward 'em either.
Never heard of Crooked Still....I'll YouTube 'em and see what I can find. |

Location: Budd Lake, NJ | Haven't heard of them in these here parts, but they'd be mighty welcome at my house (the blue-eyed carpenter played mando, fiddle, guitar and...banjo.)
And...I am not a closet banjo enthusiast--I love good banjo pickin', especially bluegrass. (It wasn't always that way--the first 18 years we were married I didn't like it at all, but then I wised up and figured, "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em." So I began to play mando.)
I'll see what I can find on-line, too.
