Since the Amelia workshop and the Travis picking lesson...

For no particular reason... I started thinking about and am intrigued by and have been practicing playing with a pick between thumb and forefinger while also, using the remaining three fingers *including the pinky*... (not that I have any more fingers to use... I live in Virginia... not WEST Virginia)

I have little trouble playing with a pick and two fingers... but, adding the pinky is a bit of a task... Though I've managed some success, using the pinky is very difficult... at one point, my brian hurt enough to make me feel nauseated.

Neither classical nor flamenco players use their pinkies, so why are you?
I hope your brian feels better soon. I've got a cousin called brian.

Jeff, use a thumbpic and then your normal picking fingers.

Muscle memory is a powerful, powerful force of nature.
Like changing the course of a river.

Heck, just that small bit advice from Matt about the correct angle of attack between the fingtips and the strings made me feel like a beginner again.

I don't use a pick at all, but on some songs I use thumb and three fingers. On some songs I use the pinky too. And on some songs, all those extra fingers get in the way so I just use thumb and two fingers.

I use a form of thumb and all four fingers I developed myself. It's called Flailing.

I use them all. Not very well, but better than I do with the pick. I just can't seem to hit the right strings with those things.

Well, since we only have five fingers per hand, whose dumb idea was it to put six damn strings on the guitar in the first place?
