Wow... a little pricey! I hope they don't carry this concept to New Hartford.

Amelia was a bargain! Once again, Matt, thanks for sharing your time and expertise with the rest of us.

I like the line, "you can bring your own FENDER instruments if you wish....."

It's funny, I'm reading this the first time and my phone rings and it's Matt. We agree that $6500 is nuts!! Next year AmeliaMatt will be only $6400 each but it will be one hell of a party. Oh yeah, you can bring ANY guitar you want.

Enrollment includes an American Standard Strat, Tele, Jazz or P Bass. That accounts for $1000.

Still...

I would think that anyone who is interested enough in Fender to do this would probably already own at least an American Standard guitar or bass.

For that "Corona Factory Tour"; they supply the coronas? What about lemons and limes? Sounds like the highlight of the whole thing.

For that price it should include multiple groupies per student!

Exactly. Looks like a way for them to get 5 times the price for a guitar.

I hope this idea doesn't somehow bleed over into our factory tour arrangements in New Hartford. We've had it so well in the past (thank you very much, Al and other responsible parties) where, for no cost, they provide lunch and raffle off one free guitar in addition to a tour of the facilities and one-on-one time with the factory experts.
