It's already occupied.
My kids may not collect guitars, but they're not without skills in the "acquisition" department. I'll tell you one thing, you know how football players have to dance through tires for exercise? Well they've got nothing on Mommy and Daddy moving across this room. We can pretty much do it in the dark now. :p
Why is it you get another Thomas almost every time you buy a new piece to the play set?
I screwed this picture up because I was standing on a chair with my arms raised all the way to the ceiling to try and get the whole set in the frame. But it gives you an idea how much square footage a children's TV show can suck up in your house.

Patch,
That's a pretty impressive collection of Brio's they have there.
That brings back fond memories. I suggest you put down the camera and the guitars right now, and get down on the floor and play with the kids and enjoy every precious minute… but don't blink, because suddenly they'll be asking for car keys instead of another Thomas… ;) |

Ah, Thomas, James, Gordon, Percy, Henry - the Big Five engines - not to mention all the others. I used to get down on the floor and play with my son when he had his Thomas gear set up. Now my son's 25 (and it did seem like the blink of an eye). The Thomas gear is still here, but packed in airtight crates. Thomas was a HUGE part of his childhood. He did recently get a DVD collection of "Thomas & Friends." Oddly enough, Sir Topham Hat, President/Owner of the railway, is referred to as "The Fat Administrator." Some kind of copyright issue, I wonder? Anyway, it IS Ringo's voice saying "The Fat Administrator," so I wonder if he went in and looped all dialog on the shows where Topham Hat was mentioned.
Brings back great memories... |
