Hi Guys
Is anyone here from the UK? if so do you know of any reputable freight companies?

I was looking at Parcelforce to have my guitar sent here to Spain, are there other/better options?

Thanks :)

I use Parcel2Go.com, who can get your package picked up from any UK address and sent via the freight company of your choice. Personally, I have always been happy with the DHL option.

Wow that's an incredible difference! Parcelforce quote me 88 pounds plus vat, on there it's 25!!

I guess they get massive discounts for bulk orders or something

Make sure you use a courier that is responsible for the entire transit, Parcelforce probably hand it off to a local courier once it's left the UK.

I would use www.interparcel.co.uk and use their Insured UPS service.

Good luck!

Glad it all worked out.

Wasn't saying that Parcelforce aren't reliable, the potential problem occurs if the guitar is damaged in transit. Parcelforce could blame the local courier and the local courier could blame Parcelforce. You will be left in the middle!

As this was UK/Spain (all in Europe) there would be less issues probably compared to shipping to/from the US. I've been stuck between the rock and a hard place before and it was a MAJOR PAIN in the wossits! It did work out OK in the end but it was a nightmare few months!
