Pray by Pardon My Strip Tease a Chilliwack (it's a town AND a band!) indie alt/rock band.

Note: Canadian Cultural item as focus for the whole band....

What's with these singers that need to use their hands to sing? Put a paintbrush in his hand and have him multitask.

Good tune. I'm gonna go deeper into the band.

Speaking of cultural items as a focus ... did you notice on the computer screen that whoever is driving that computer is on Facebook?

He knew the camera was on.

Might make for an interesting painting though. I actually like the song and they played it well.

That's lousy.

Whiny angst ridden singer with no character, nuthin to say and almost as bad as a beer commercial plus the music is way off.

Lyric content doesn't get close to saying anything worthwhile.

What are they going to do when life gets really tough and they have to move out of mom's basement?

Don't hold back, say what you really mean. ;-)

The first link was to a live unplugged version of the song. Here is the recorded version released.

Different tastes north of the 49th parallel I guess. It's the #2 download on iTunes in Canada sitting right behind Nickelback...everyone's favourite band to hate.

The singer apparently wrote the song to raise money and awareness for his daughters battle with brain cancer. Nickelback just donated $50,000 to BC Childrens hospital in support of the effort.
