Does anybody want to unload their wireless system that can't be used in the US due to the frequency regulation changes?

They're still legal down here and I'm sick of walking too far away from my amp (oops) or stepping on leads ($$$)

Both these units on eBay are illegal in the US, but won't ship overseas OR accept questions from overseas.
THIS one is actually deceiving the buyer, claiming it is FCC compliant.

And THIS one doesn't tell the buyer the frequency, but researching the model number shows it to be illegal.

I don't understand why they don't offer international shipping, but would rather deceive the US buyers.

So, would one of my US OFC friends please make an offer of $50 for the first one, and advise them that;
'as of June 12, 2010 any wireless microphone equipment that uses frequencies between 698 MHz and 806 MHz is prohibited in the United States."

Get the unit delivered to your CONUS address, re-send it to me and I'll fix you up through PainPal. Obviously, I'll cover all PainPal costs and any out-of-pocket expenses.

There are enough of you old timers still here that should know me well enough to trust me.

Geez, if Cliff trusts me I MUST be OK...

OK, so I\'ve found one and placed a bid. 2 days to go, lets see how much it goes for.

So, disregard the previous post re: bidding on my behalf.

I could still be interested in taking any of your now illegal wireless systems off your hands as

A) I may not win the above auction and
B) I know a few musicians here that may be interested in going wireless.

I doubt if any FCC regulations on wireless freqs are going to stop people from using them. This is just another example of over-regulation and mandates that can't be enforced.

Shure T6-CE receiver, Freq 182.200 MHZ, L11-CD transmitter, 1/4" guitar jack cable, clip microphone, Shure PS20 AC adapter. Can be used with either the guitar input or microphone clip but not both at the same time.

There's one like it on ebay right now:

Make me an offer...

For $50, it would be sold...just don't have a clue how much shipping down under would be or even how to go about it :)

Don't fall for it, Muzza. I can do better. Let me offer Tim $49.99 for you. I think TR is getting a kickback...

(Meanwhile Tim's gotta be thinking "Sumbeach...this might be going in the wrong direction!")

...Ooo and TnT is a pretty good size guy too.

On second thought, maybe TR has a better deal.

Just finished a two-weekend gig using a Line6 G50 that transmits in the 2.4 GHZ range. Excellent unit, no issues whatsoever, no interference with other transmitters even though there could have been as the venue was in the middle of the Denver Performing Arts Complex where twere likely dozens in use at any time, inlcuding a second house system on me. Don't know if there are any available on the resale market yet.
