The wife and I were out celebrating our 34th anniversary today and I accidentally went into a small music shop. A friend of mine happened to be in the store and he says, "Hey Nick, aren't you into PAIA gear?" He knew I'd built several of their kits over the years and that I was an admirer of John Simonton. He points me to a display case containing a PAIA Oz. The damn thing works perfectly and is in great condition. I'm a sucker for nostalgia.

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | I have a PAIA line mixer and the "Tube Head" and both are still in operation. Love that tube head. I've often thought of experimenting with different tubes in it but just never got around to it. |
