That was about the most boring doubleneck performance ever.

In my opinion, nobody did doublenecks like these guys (and they used both necks... and some keyboards... and some synth pedals...)

Doublenecks...pffft...once you master the guitar, then you bring a mans ax to the stage...

Doubt Rick could reach the bottom neck these days...

Innaresting. I didn't know they used doublenecks at all. They played our high school once and later I used to see them in Toronto a lot when they were still just a bar band - didn't pay much attention to them after that. Damn good bar band though.

OFC gatherings, not tUS gatherings, which don't sound like that, I don't think, although I'm sure some would disagree.

One of RN's multi-neck guitars (along with a handful of others) was in the Hamer shop for repairs when we went through there in October. The guitars were damaged during the stage collapse at the Ottawa festival in the summer.

I tell you what, it was really cool seeing JPJ rock with them youngsters Josh Homme and Dave Grohl in 'Them Crooked Vultures'. I still don't know that I get the Josh Homme thing, but Dave's energy, and the pure rockin' talent of Jones really came through. At times, John Paul was playing bass, synth pedals and singing backup at the same time, or sometimes keyboards with bas being played on pedals. I gave props to Geddy Lee up above, but JPJ does the same thing.

Thanks for posting the JPJ triple neck video SOBeach.

It's nice to see someone who has a triple neck that isn't just for looks. He actually plays the hell out of each neck. Nice looping work too!

Great video.
