Once again, a very nice spread! How much are you asking for the Slothead?
They strated with #26 and ended with 70 so there were 44 made. When production started up again it was at 77. The inbetween were test guitars that were destroyed. Pre 26 there were completed guitars but not all 26, maybe 10? 19, 20 and 21 had round holes with like a buick port hole cover, three bars across the hole. Marcel Dadi had one of these. We later made about 25 guitars with Status grifite necks with these type hole rosettes, around 1995.

The serial number 7 prototype has f-hole soundholes and is archtop graphite, serial # 12 is a 12 string and has two round soundholes. Both are crude guitars and almost unfinished. They both have a large back access door for when the were shaving the bracing for soundtesting. The doors are taped on..They both sound great but very crude, the bowls were never sprayed and never finished. You can see the fibers and resin. These were test guitars obviously..

What's left?

I'm interested in the 1687-9 #3 on the pic.
Is it still around? What's the SN on it. Does it play as good as it looks?
