Location: Scotland | Miles, you are so right about shipping from the UK. I pay around $85 to ship a guitar when I buy from the USA, but around $120 when I sell & ship one back over. That varies a little according to weight and insurance value, but it's in the ballpark.
Apparently our Postal Service, which used to be the Royal Mail, now called "Consignia" (no, we don't know what the F*** it means either) runs at a loss of around a millionÂŁ a day!!!!!! Draw your own conclusions from that.
