I have a rare Ovation Balladeer 12 string that I have been having problems finding out its current worth, and I am thinking of selling it.

This guitar is: Ovation Balladeer A808
Slotted Head 12 string acoustic, no electronics.
Polished Bowl

It does not have the usual plastic around the sound hole, but the sound hole is bordered by the wood of the guitar itself, and then around 1/2" from there it has inlay ring. The bridge was replaced and hand made (I was told that Ovation did not have a replacement bridge, and was told it was somewhat rare model) by a Factory Authorized Ovation Warranty repair shop in Denver Colorado. It is in great shape, and has a few minor cracks in the finish (not all the way thru to the wood).

No one has been able to find a listing for this model in any guitar blue books!

Any help on pricing this would be appreciated.
You can see a picture of the guitar at my website at:

David:
It appears that you have an early Baladeer 12 string. Does it have the shinny bowl and do you have more pictures of it?
Thanks

This is one of the early 12's. A serial number, probably one of the ones made by Glen's Aunt..............
