Owing to perpetual GAS, I am selling this beautiful Martin 000 that is in very good condition. By far one of the nicest Martins I've ever had the chance to play, this is essentially the Eric Clapton signature model without the signature and a couple cosmetic appointments.

Equally good for fingerstyle or rhythm, this small-bodied 000 is seriously robust, with tons of Martin bottom-end, with an incredible bright sparkle on the treble register. I played it just today tuned down to D standard and it just boomed! Seriously, this has all the warmth and depth that you'd expect from a spruce/rosewood Martin, without the "muddiness" often associated with the brand.

The guitar is in about 9/10 condition. Frets are good, neck is straight, and the action is a nice medium setup. No cracks or noticeable dings or marks. There are some light pick brushing and hairline marks here and there on the top, back, and peghead tip, but absolutely no major marks or issues whatsoever. It's as nice as you could ask for from an 11-year-old guitar.

The woods are gorgeous...the vintage-toned Spruce top has a ton of silking, giving a lot of movement to the top surface. Also, the Indian Rosewood features some of the nicest striping I've seen. The pattern is very striking, even more so in person, and is a rich reddish brown in shade. There is a comparably-striped piece of EIR on the peghead face, which in my mind totally finishes the understated elegance of this instrument

There is a passive preamp/pickup system installed with a standard end-pin jack and a 9v batter clip at the base of the neck block. No external controls or hardware, and the electronics function beautifully.

A link to the manufacturer's specs is here.

Guitar comes in it's Martin hardshell case, in immaculate condition. List for the new 000-28 without electronics is $2999, and store price is around $2250. I am asking $1850 for this beautiful Martin shipped in the continental US, Paypal fees included. I will ship international - email me for a quote. More pictures available on request.

Don't sweat the small stuff! :)

Very nice guitar; good luck with the sale. It should sell its self at that price.
