Location: North Carolina		Hello - can anyone help me with a serial number and dating a vintage 1615 12 string? The serial number is d20060907. The guitar has a natural spruce top. The only thing I have been able to find is that Ovation stopped making this model after 1977. It is in mint condition. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Location: Norway		The serial number you list is longer than the usual numbers, but assuming 060907 is the number, ignoring the d20 at the start, Ovation lists it as 1975 make.

I'm not really sure about that, since you have a eight digit serial number (and not six digit which is normal).

My Glenn Campbell sign. Deluxe Balladeer is 1975 also. If you want my opinion, I think you have a 1975 model there (Nothing else makes sense according to that serial no).

Do you have pictures of it? I'm drooling here... :D
