I have a 1667 Legend cutaway deep bowl 6 string and I'm considering upgrading the electronics to more modern stuff with a built in tuner. I bought it in 1977 as a 1617, but had the bowl replaced with a deep cutaway during warranty service in the 80's, so it is now essentially a 1617 as far as I'm concerned. Does anyone have an OP-24+C or Optima unit they want to sell? (also battery case or maybe pickup) I'm not sure if the original 1977 pickup is as good as the modern ones, or whether I'd need to replace that too. Are there any good aftermarket units available? I am also considering selling the guitar so that I might move up to a Custom Legend or Adamas. It is in mint condition. Not a scratch. Let me know if you have any good parts for me.
