Gee, buy ANY Martin (except Little Martin, Backpacker, and SO Uke's) and you will have a 175th Anniversary Martin Guitar Certificate. Not a particular model, any model. With as many special issues that Martin has come out with, you would think they would have a 175th Anniversary model...

Certificate of Authenticity 175th Anniversary Martin Guitar your name, model, serial number, and signed (or printed signature) of CEM IV. So, a D-15 is 175th Anniversary Martin Guitar. Dispute...check out the advertisement. With a COA like that, watch and see eBay sellers listing 175th Anniversary Martin Guitar Just a little strange...usually reserved for the specific high-end limited model.

I received a certificate in the mail with the serial number and my name on it. Cool.  :D :D

In the June '08: HOT NEW GEAR, the latest guitars and accessories introduced at this year's winter NAMM show Ovation Adamas 2008 Collector's Edition (pg 62) Also, Player Spotlight: Jake Shimabukuro (pg 30) talks tone tweaking, chord voicings, and diverse musical influences.

After getting to spend a small amount of time with the Q, I understand what all the fuss is about and wish that somehow they could be made into a production model at a reasonable price. Ovation was way ahead of the market and the Q was way better than either the RainSong or the CA that I've played (although I do think the CA guitars are really nice given their price point of about $2K).

It's got a 1 3/4" nut width that I find very comfortable, and the tone is extremely sweet. It plays great and is comfortable in the hands. What's not to like? ![]()
